Half-Mile Farm is delighted to welcome the team from Haand in Burlington, NC, for a fun, informative, and hands-on hosted weekend.

Weekend Events:

• Social Hour Friday and Saturday from 5 - 6 pm Social Hour hosted by Haand’s Anna Rooney with Hors d'oeuvres served on beautiful handmade ceramics crafted in North Carolina, along with live music. Additional beverages are available for purchase from the J. Henry Farmhouse Tavern.
• Saturday 3:30 - 5 pm Join us for an unforgettable afternoon with Anna Rooney of Haand Ceramics. Immerse yourself in artistry and delight in painting your Half-Mile Farm memories onto a handmade dinner bowl, which will be later fired, and mailed to your home as a keepsake of your stay.

ABOUT HAAND IN HAND

Haand was started in 2012 by Mark Warren and Chris Pence, friends who met in high school in Jacksonville, Florida circa 1999. The brand was built around the goal of designing and producing high-quality modern ceramics with traditional craft methods. Since 2012, Haand designs have found their way into homes, restaurants, and galleries across the country. Everything is crafted in-house - from prototyping to glaze formulation. At Haand, they believe that to do something right, the creator must be involved in the entire process.

Community Manager Anna Rooney will join guests to share the story of Haand and demonstrate the unique way they produce their ceramics. Using molds instead of a wheel to craft sleek, contemporary, practical designs, their plate ware, kitchenware, and serving pieces celebrate craft and the people who made it!
