While most of our room types are not available to dogs due to potential allergy issues, 200 Main has limited dog-friendly rooms for an additional charge to those traveling with their furry-faced family members. Dog-friendly rooms must be arranged at the time of booking and done over the phone. These rooms cannot be booked online. You can read up on the dog policy on our FAQ page.
The 200 Main Game Room is a trove of family fun--loaded with comfy sofas and chairs, a ping pong table, a stand-up arcade, chess and checkerboards, a shuffleboard table, and video game consoles with popular titles at play on the big screen. You can even check out some favorite board games. Just stop by the front desk for assistance.
Just off the Grand Terrace and adjacent to the game room is a relaxing space to sit and enjoy a good conversation, read a book, or play a game of cards. An adjoining set of double doors allows parents to conveniently keep an eye on children in the game room.
Many escape to Highlands to disconnect for a while, but our complimentary Wi-Fi makes it easy to check-in when you are ready.
Highlands is a draw for oenophiles and hopheads alike. Craft breweries and seven Wine Spectator-rated restaurants wait to greet 200 Main guests while in town, but sometimes you just want to stay in. We have a limited selection of beers and wines for sale at the Front Desk. Or you can take an easy stroll next door to the Highlands Wine Shoppe for a wider selection.
One of the most popular places on the property has to be the Grand Terrace and Firepit. Overlooking Main Street, the spacious Grand Terrace affords plenty of space to sit and relax with family or friends. The firepit casts its warm welcome on chilly evenings.
The heated outdoor mineral pool at 200 Main extends the mountain swim season a bit. It's fun to splash in the sparkling rivers, streams and waterfalls around Highlands, but when temperatures turn chilly come immerse yourself in pure bliss at 200 Main.
Just across Oak Street, guests can pick up a trailhead for the Highlands Plateau Greenway. Over five miles of sidewalks and nature trails are open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset and offer alternative walking and jogging routes to shopping, restaurants, historic sites, as well as cultural activities and the Highlands Nature Center. Tri-fold maps are available in the lobby or via this link.
Spend a lazy summer afternoon in the parklike setting of 200 Main. Pick up some fun nibbles and a bottle of wine from Highlands Wine Shoppe next door and relax at one of the new picnic tables. Several hammocks await guests who want to take a break and hang out. It's a great place to disconnect and unwind.
State of the art Cybex arc trainers, treadmills, along with a FT 325 functional trainer and bike stand at the ready for guests wanting to work out. Free weights and yoga equipment are also available. Please note that special restrictions are in place due to our NC Governor's mandates. Check with the front desk for a quick briefing on the details.
Our Nespresso machines make it easy to enjoy a cup while curled up in your room, but we also keep a pot going in the Lobby all morning if you drop by.
Guests at 200 Main enjoy charging privileges at all Old Edwards shops, restaurants, golf courses and at The Spa—not to mention special discounts at Acorn's, The Spa Boutique, and The Golf Shop.
