Join us at Half-Mile Farm for a weekend that’s equal parts Southern charm and fiery flair. We’re turning up the heat for the Kentucky Derby with special guest Chef Geoff Rhyne, founder of Red Clay Hot Sauce. Known for his perfectly balanced blends of heat and flavor, Chef Geoff brings his signature “sweet and spicy” touch to a weekend of unforgettable culinary experiences.

Savor bold, handcrafted dishes, sip Southern-inspired cocktails, and enjoy the race-day revelry in style. From front porch cocktails to farm-fresh feasts, it’s the perfect blend of tradition and taste—Derby style, with a kick.

Weekend Events:

• Friday from 5 - 6 pm, join Half-Mile Farm Chef Jason Tardo for Social Hour featuring Red Clay-infused hors d’oeuvres, along with specialty cocktails available for purchase in J. Henry Farmhouse Tavern and live music from Paul Jones until 8 pm

• Saturday at 12 pm, the 151st Kentucky Derby festivities begin, and we’ll be streaming on the big screen in the Woodland View Room.
• Saturday from 4 - 5 pm, Chef Geoff Rhyne will take center stage to share the Red Clay story—how a Charleston-born hot sauce with humble beginnings became a cult favorite among chefs and food lovers nationwide. Guests will be invited to sample some of Chef Geoff’s signature creations, featuring the perfect balance of sweet heat that Red Clay is known for. Get ready for bold flavors, insider tales, and a few spicy surprises along the way.
• Saturday from 5 - 6 pm, Join Chef Geoff and Chef Jason for our social hour to enjoy some delicious hor d'ouvres featuring Red Clay Hot Sauce. Enjoy specialty cocktails available for purchase in the J. Henry Farmhouse Tavern and live music from Paul Jones until 8 pm.
