Oyster Fest at The Farm

September brings the last of summertime celebrations but, fortunately for oyster lovers, it also means the return of their favorite shellfish. For this annual Old Edwards tradition, guests will gather in The Orchard with lawn games and live music. Passed hors d'oeuvres, a lavish raw bar and creative cocktails from James Beard Foundation award-winner Miles Macquerrie (Kimball House and Watchman's) will set the stage for deliciousness to follow. Chef Brian Wolfe of Kimball House in Atlanta & Chef Sara Prezioso of The Darling in Charleston will serving specialties from their restaurants alongside traditional roasted oysters. Bryan Rackley, Kimball House's oyster expert, will present an array of Southern raw oysters from farmer friends on the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. The dinner menu will feature an array of festival stations for an informal Old Edwards-style feast accompanied by wines from the Francis Ford Coppola family and great seasonal beers from Wicked Weed.
